Dayton Webber, a 27-year-old professional cornhole player who is a quadruple amputee, has been accused of murder in Maryland. The incident occurred on March 22, 2026, when Webber allegedly shot Bradrick Michael Wells, a passenger in the car, during an argument. According to police, Webber pulled over and asked witnesses to remove the victim, but they refused and fled. Webber then drove away with the victim still in the vehicle.
Hours later, a homeowner discovered Wells' body on their lawn in Charlotte Hall. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Webber, locating his car in Charlottesville, Virginia. Webber was arrested at a nearby hospital where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed medical issue. He is currently awaiting extradition to Charles County to face charges including first and second-degree murder.
