Ocean Alley has recently completed the largest headline tour of their career, selling more than 80,000 tickets across 11 shows in Australia and New Zealand. This massive tour concluded over the past weekend.
Coinciding with the tour's finale, their fifth studio album, 'Love Balloon,' has returned to the No. 1 position on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart. Released in September 2025, the album has now spent 22 weeks within the ARIA Australian Albums Top 10, including 14 consecutive weeks, and has reached the top spot for the third time.
The album has garnered over 50 million streams worldwide since its release. The title track has spent 29 weeks in the Top 20 of the ARIA Australian Singles Chart. A viral moment emerged from the tour's finale, with the lyric "Livin' in the Moment like when we were kids" from album closer "Drenched" soundtracking over 17,000 social media posts.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for Ocean Alley as an independent band. Their entire music catalogue has now surpassed 1 billion streams globally, with ten singles certified Gold or higher in Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S. In 2025, they also expanded their international presence with shows in London and new dates in South America, alongside festival appearances worldwide.
