Summary
- Leaked footage of domestic incident impacts influencer's daughter.
- Ex-husband received temporary custody and protective order.
- TV show production paused amid new assault investigation.

Taylor Frankie Paul, a 31-year-old MomTok influencer, is speaking out about the emotional toll recent headlines have taken on her 8-year-old daughter, Indy. The leaked footage of a 2023 domestic violence incident involving her ex-partner Dakota Mortensen has forced Indy to 'relive and see it all over again,' according to Paul.
The resurfaced video, which allegedly shows Paul throwing barstools at Mortensen, was published on March 19, 2026, on Ever's second birthday, an event Paul claims was 'taken from him.' This has led to the cancellation of the latest season of the reality show starring Taylor.
Paul was previously arrested and charged with aggravated assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse, and criminal mischief, later pleading guilty to felony aggravated assault. The incident was documented on season one of 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,' which premiered in September 2024.
Amid news of a fresh domestic dispute between Paul and Mortensen in February 2026, the Draper City Police Department in Utah opened a domestic assault investigation, with allegations made by both parties. Consequently, production on season 5 of 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' has been paused.
Taylor's representative stated that Mortensen's actions were a 'desperate, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child.' Mortensen, however, denied the claims and focused on his son's safety. As of March 21, 2026, Mortensen was granted temporary custody of Ever and a temporary protective order against Paul.
