Indian Films Conquer Netflix Global Charts

Indian films have captured the top three positions on Netflix's Global Top 10 Films (Non-English) chart, marking a significant milestone for the country's cinema on the international streaming stage.

The Tamil film 'Made In Korea' secured the number one spot, with Hindi titles 'Border 2' and 'Dhurandhar' following closely at positions two and three, respectively. Another Tamil film, 'With Love', also made it onto the list at number seven.

This impressive performance reflects a consistent upward trend for Indian content on global platforms. Several Indian films have achieved multi-week runs on Netflix's global charts, and many have gained traction in numerous countries, indicating a sustained international interest.

The growing global reach of Indian storytelling is evident, with audiences worldwide increasingly embracing films irrespective of language. This surge in viewership has led to a nearly six-fold increase in Indian titles appearing on Netflix's Global Top 10 since July 2021.

Furthermore, Indian films have consistently featured in the global top 10 weekly since 2024, demonstrating their sustained popularity and impact on international audiences.
